Lechlade Memorial Hall
Lechlade Memorial Hall is owned and managed by Trustees of Lechlade Village Hall and Recreation CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation) on behalf of the community. The primary object of the CIO is to run the facilities for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Lechlade.
Lechlade Memorial Hall was opened in May 2018 to replace the old building which was destroyed by fire in 2016. This building has been designed to have a number of different sized rooms available, some of which can be combined to give even greater capacity. Whether you need a small private room or a large function room for a sit down meal, or anything in between, take a look at our facilities. As well as information about the Memorial Hall and the adjacent Pavilion, which is a separate community building having a 90 capacity room and kitchen, this web site gives you details of all the rooms, equipment and the services we can offer. You can use the calendar to see which rooms are available, and you can also make a request to book rooms using our on-line booking system. For more information please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
or telephone 07788809784.
The Memorial Hall incorporates the latest features to ensure that it is fully accessible, sustainable and eco-friendly. It is built to the highest standards of insulation and is heated by an air-source heat pump to keep fuel costs to a minimum. A fully enclosed outside garden and seating area is available for use in fine weather. There is a large parking area suitable for 87 cars, which includes 5 disabled car parking spaces.
The facilities also includes an All Weather Pitch which has floodlighting allowing 24/7 use, and the new skate park offers state of the art thrills but, hopefully, not too many spills! Close by is the Town Council’s children’s play space, a fitness trail, and a public tennis court.
