Is your activity missing from the list?

If you have booked an event or recurring activity/class at the centre, log into your account and click "My activites". From there you can create an advert (as below) for your activity and submit it to the administration team for approval. Once accepted, your activity will appear below.


United Community Social Club

We run a friendly socialclub for the over 50s with activities ranging from singing to keep fit; sewing and crafts to talks on health matters. Bring something for your lunch and enjoy it in the company of others. All welcome! Buses 4, 7, 10, 17 and 51 stop on Manchester Road.

Macular Society Meetings

Swindon Macular Society meets at Broadgreen Community Centre on the 3rd Tuesday of the month 10am-12pm. New members always welcome. Contact Brenda on 01793 339742 or Pam on 01793 521408 for further information and dates of meetings.

Child Health Hubs

The Child Health Hubs offer support on topics such as weaning, play, language development as well as smoking cessation, promoting mental well-being and basic first aid. We weigh babies at set stages and there are also self-weigh points if you wish to weigh your baby, but if you have concerns about feeding or your baby's weigh gain, come and discuss this with one of the health visitors. Clinics at Broadgreen Community Centre on the 1st Tuesday and 3rd Wednesday of every month.

Free Street Cricket

Wiltshire Cricket with Chance to Shine are offering free Street Cricket to 8-11 year olds. All abilities welcome. No extra equipment needed. Wear what you want. Explosive action! Starting on Wednesday 24th October 2018.

Thamesdown Speakers Club

Thamesdown Speakers are part of Toastmasters International - an educational organisation that operates clubs worldwide for the purpose of promoting communication and public speaking skills. We learn by doing and challenging ourselves through impromptu speaking and prepared speeches. Our meetings are open to every-one and provide a friendly and supportive environment, where a self-paced educational programme allows you to build confidence with each speaking assignment. 2nd & 4th Weds of the month

Play Together

Come along to the fun Play Together group at Broadgreen Community Centre for under 5s. We offer creative and free play activities to develop confidence and social skills. Includes children's snack and drink. Butterflies Family Centre staff plan and run the group supported by volunteers. £1 per family. Term time only.

Swindon TG Group

We are a friendly support group for transgender people and their families. 16+ please. We meet the second Saturday of the month 7pm-10pm. Refreshments and a friendly welcome are on offer. A donation of £4 per meeting to cover expenses would be appreciated.

Swindon Chinese School

The Swindon Chinese School is an independent, non-political, non-religious and not for profit community school run by parents and teachers. Its mission is to promote the understanding of Chinese culture amongst the younger generation and to raise their interest in learning the Chinese language.
